It would appear that a paper snipe (banner with showtimes etc) was pasted completely across the bottom 4 inches (10 cm) of the poster and then removed at some point which has caused discolouration and paste residue throughout the bottom 4 inches of the poster (you can just about make out the outline of the Odeon text which would have been written on the snipe)
